In Room 4 we have been learning about simple fractions. We now know how to find a half, a quarter and one whole of a shape. To show our knowledge, we decided to make pretend pizza and cut it into different fractions.
Success Criteria:
- Understand what 'equal parts' mean.
- Know how many equal parts are needed to make halves and quarters.
We are learning about halves and quarters. It means that you cut something. When you cut something into two pieces that are the same you make halves.
